We...I still need to do the Land Shark! Is it fun? <br /><br />We did the surrey bike a few years ago. It is HARD work, a lot harder than it looks (of course, we also had 60 extra pounds of "dead weight" ;-) ) And riding along the non-beach side of Cabrillo is SCARY as all get out. Towards the end, we ended up having Allan push the bike while I pedaled, exchanging knowing glances with other families we encountered along the way. I don't think we'll be doing that again anytime soon, at least not until Todd is big enough to contribute to the pedaling! <br /><br />Also, the other day, I did a Google search for ideas for little getaways in California, and found a forum where the MAJORITY of the comments suggested SB.
