This photo is from Easter 2013, when my church had its service at the Santa Barbara City College stadium and it poured rain the entire time. So it’s evidence that we do sometimes have weather other than the typical constant sunshine...but it also shows something much greater: a community of people who were willing to brave the elements for two hours to hear a sermon on the resurrection of Jesus. It made my heart smile.
It was a beautiful experience. Loved all those umbrellas and the barefoot worshipers!
